ICECS 2023
The International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems (ICECS) is the premier conference devoted to the development and design of emerging electronic circuits and systems, providing a forum for designers to discuss recent developments and future directions.
The meeting is an IEEE technically sponsored conference, sponsored by the Circuit and System society (CAS).
The paper titled "Adiabatic Spiking Neurons and Synapses for Ultra-Low Energy Neuromorphic Computing" presented by our PhD. student Marco Massarotto has been accepted for oral presentation at the 2023 ICECS edition which was held in Istanbul, Turkey, on December 3-7th 2023.
In this work, the concepts of adiabatic and neuromorphic computing are combined into a novel, resonant circuit promising to implement a spiking neural network with ultra-low energy per synaptic operation that decreases with the circuit speed, as expected for an adiabatic system.
